YES Causal Inference
Mar 13, 2023 - Mar 15, 2023
Summary
Causal inference is at the center of research. Perhaps because of its central position in so many sciences, multiple perspectives have arisen from which causal inference is studied. Two popular ones are the potential outcomes framework and the graphical approach. In this workshop, researchers from many domains (mathematics, (bio)statistics, economics, computer science, social science,…) will look for common ground in their approaches towards causal inference.
The workshop is aimed at junior researchers working in causal inference, from any domain. There will be two tutorials, one about the potential outcomes framework and one about the graphical approach. In addition, there will be keynote lectures, talks by participants and a poster session. Confirmed tutorial and keynote speakers include Sara Magliacane (University of Amsterdam), Mats Julius Stensrud (EPFL), Leonard Henckel (University of Copenhagen), Rhian Daniel (Cardiff University) and Sonja Swanson (University of Pittsburgh
