About Rob van den Berg
Over roughly the past four decades, Rob van den Berg’s work in various areas of probability has proved to be of great value for a better understanding of major questions in the field, and therefore Rob has the status of one of the leading experts. Rob’s work also has contributed significantly to the development of the Dutch scientific community in this research field and to its international visibility. Rob’s retirement is an excellent occasion to convene at a workshop to strengthen the connections within the community and to facilitate future collaborations.
During his career, Rob has been collaborating with many of the specialists and leaders in the field. We are pleased that thanks to this, we succeeded to secure an impressive line-up of speakers at the workshop, including both established experts and young talents.
